	1st round: 2 - 2,5 meters (6+ - 8 foot) east with little north on the swell with light westerly wind<br />
	2nd round: 2 - 2,5+ meters (6+ - 8+ foot) east with little north on the swell (a little bigger than on the 1st round)<br />

This year presented the heaviest wave conditions for a SIC ever. With former champion Mike Stewart pulling out of the competition due to family commitments, the stage was clear for the other performers. South African Alistair Taylor (bodyboarder) had to go to the hospital to check his injuries after receiving one of the worst wipeouts ever seen at Shark Island. International top bodyboarders dominated the competition with to be two-times world champion Damian King taking the lead. [5]<br />

Pixs taken at shark Island off Cronulla point where the final round of the Human Cronulla Shark Island Challenge was held. Shark Island is considered one of the ten heaviest  breaks in the world, there were competitors from brazil, hawaii, spain, france, etc as well as obviously Australia competing.  Pic shows. Damien King  during the semi finals lands face first into the ledge at shark island.The event and 20,000 dollar prize was won by Ryan Hardy from Western Australia.  <br />
